![]() So I connect to their wifi (the only good thing I can say is thank god it was working) because I managed to call an uber to take me to Holiday Inn.I guess I'm the only one who had a decent experience at this place. I HAVE TO ASK THE CUSTOMER SERVICE GUY WHAT TO DO NEXT!! Like hello, explain to me my options tell me what I can do now!! It's basic customer service! So I ask him to call a taxi to take me somewhere else and he does, but I end up waiting 30 minutes and a taxi still doesn't arrive. ![]() The guy behind the desk doesn't even offer me a solution or other option, he just stands there looking at me. SKETCHY NUMBER 2 as it worked in the airport. So I offer to pay on card, (not gonna lie I was planning on cancelling the transaction before it cleared the next morning) and we try twice with my British card and it is declined twice. This was SKETCHY NUMBER ONE because the whole set up and smell of the hotel, and them telling me my hotel wasn't paid for was a huge warning sign. I walk into the reception area on the night of the 23rd August with my booking confirmation to which the ridiculously unprofessional guy tells me it hadn't been paid for despite me entering my card details already. I'm 21 and this was the first time I had traveled alone, and I had gone from England to Kansas City for a year so I was definitely scared. By the time I arrived here with my booking confirmation I had been travelling for 20 hours.
